Lower temperatures, lower air humidity & indoor heating wreaks havoc on our skin! Here are a few tips to get you through the season:
-Avoid foaming cleansers & change to a hydrating cleanser such as the JUVA Vitapure Milk.
-Place a humidifier in your bedroom at night to replenish humidity in the air.
-Layer day creams over a hyaluronic acid serum (which locks in moisture), such as the Neocutis Hyalis.
-For dry, cracked heels try soaking your feet for 10 minutes in warm water, then apply an emollient such as Theraplex FT (contains salicyclic acid which gently exfoliates while peppermint soothes tired feet). You can also tryBaby Foot, which contains 17 types of natural extracts to gently remove unwanted, dead skin cells!
- Don't forget your SPF! Even in cold weather we are subject to UVA rays. The sun reflects off snow & can pass through glass. UVA rays will penetrate deep into the skin layers, potentially causing long-term damage to the skin, not to mention wrinkles!

"On weekends I like to fly to Iceland for a concert or to recharge my batteries. Conversely I enjoy marathons, for example brunching. I could easily brunch for six hours (I am always looking for recommendations!). But nothing beats couch time with Chadwick, my French Bulldog. Travel is my true passion; I only have two continents left before I can say I have visited them all." -Johanna
